It’s Pumpkin Spice Season and I Can’t Have Any…Or Can I? (Video)

I really do love the start of pumpkin spice season! It means that soon there will be a chill in the air and fall will be here!

Living in South Carolina, no matter how awesome the summer was, but the end of August, we’re all pretty much ready for cooler temperatures!

The first official day of the season always means heading through the drive-thru to grab a lovely pumpkin spice latte. But with my new journey to become the healthiest me possible, a sugar and calorie filled PSL is not exactly best for my “bottom line”.

Saying goodbye?

What’s a girl to do? I had to say goodbye… to the sugary coffeehouse version, and create my own! And it’s still lots of pumpkin spice yumminess too!!!

When trying to get healthy, the easier food and beverages is, the better. And this recipe is super simple!

Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte

This version of the pumpkin spice latte is much lower in calories and sugar

Servings 1 person


  • 6 oz brewed coffee
  • 6 oz milk works with any type of milk
  • 1/4 tsp stevia can add more to taste
  • 1/8 tsp pumpkin spice seasoning can add more to taste


  • Prepare the coffee
  • Mix in the stevia and pumpkin spice and stir well
  • Add the milk and stir


You can make this either hot or cold. For cold, I love to use cold brew coffee, but to use coffee maker coffee, either allow to cool some or add ice.
