What do you do when you’re forced to stay at home and isolate yourself from others? For these three, real life Golden Girls, that means being in quarantine together.
Doreen Burns, Carol Spark and Dotty Robinson are from Salford in Greater Manchester. They have all known each other for almost 50 years. These women, all in their 70’s have made the decision to hunker down together until the worst of the Coronavirus is past. They were interviewed by BBC Breakfast about their unique solution to the quarantine.
All three are in good spirits. They have made an isolation plan that includes plenty of wine. And they openly admit wine is their preferred panic buying item.
The trio made the decision to each stay for a week in their own homes and if they were all well after that time, then they would decide which house they would select for their quarantine time.
The three seem happy with their arrangements and are content to ride out the virus outbreak with one another’s company, their wine and Netflix.
